The V-Twins, like all Honda engines, are
designed to be durable and reliable. Enery feature of these engines was
developed specifically for unique requirements of V-Twin power. Honda's proven
full-pressure lubrication system ensures a consistent flow of oil to every
bearing surface including the rocker arms. This allows engine operation even
under the toughest conditions, as all engine components are lubricated
consistently.

Honda uses special sound dampening materials in
critical components such as the fan cover, oil pump and camshaft gears to
provide smooth, quiet performance. The cooling fan has non-uniform pitch which
further suppresses noise. By matching metal type and specifications of critical
components such as connecting rods, crankshafts and side-covers, Honda has been
able to further reduce normally inherent engine noise during operation.
