PTO, maximum transfer of power to the turf - To get a level cut at high mph, mowers need a fast and consistent blade tip speed, so you'll have to put those docile mule drive mowers out to pasture. A PTO shaft is field-proven to give more efficient transfer of power between engine and blades than a belt-driven mule drive. There's also no belt slippage, so one more source of downtime is eliminated. A deflector guards the PTO shaft to prevent entangling debris or tall grass.
