Effective turf penetration - Straight up-down turf penetration produces deep, less compacted plugs. The 5/8" diameter tines are adjustable to approx. 2 3/4" deep, sufficient depth to loosen a compacted surface, but shallow enough to avoid excessive loss of soil moisture. Power-Plug tines are machined from solid high carbon steel bar, heat treated then industrial chrome plated for extended life and clean plug ejection. Tines disengage with a hand lever to skip over sprinkler heads and sidewalks without slowing down.

Simple, low maintenance - While other aerators have multiple belts, chain drives and pulleys, the Power-Plug has a simple, double U belt that provides all the power necessary for excellent results. Lift the cover - no tools required- and you have easy access to all components.

5.5 HP Briggs & Stratton Intek I/C OHV Separate throttle and clutch controls for easier operation in tight areas at low speeds. Tines can be removed, sharpened and replaced in less than 15 minutes.
